MCP server
NEUM MCP server for US stocks
Price levels, level crossings and earnings dates inside Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other AI apps. Educational data, not investment advice.
NEUM publishes long and short price levels for US-listed stocks, built from automated models on 4-hour price data, along with model events (a 4-hour candle closing across a level, a reference target or invalidation level being reached) and an event calendar of earnings, dividends and splits. The NEUM MCP server makes all of this available inside your AI assistant, so you can ask about it in plain English.
Server address
https://api.neum.trade/mcp
Remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP, with OAuth 2.1 sign-in (dynamic client registration). It's listed in the official MCP Registry as trade.neum/neum. You need an active NEUM plan.
Set up in Claude (web, desktop and mobile)
- In Claude, open Customize → Connectors.
- Choose + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Name it NEUM and paste
https://api.neum.trade/mcp. - Select Continue, choose to sign in now, then Add.
- Sign in to NEUM, check what Claude will be able to do, and select Allow.
Custom connectors work on all Claude plans (Free plans allow one). On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds NEUM in Organization settings → Connectors and members select Connect. Step-by-step details: Use NEUM inside Claude.
Set up in Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http neum https://api.neum.trade/mcp
Then run /mcp inside Claude Code, choose neum and authenticate in your browser.
Set up in Cursor
Add NEUM to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (all projects) or .cursor/mcp.json (one project):
{
"mcpServers": {
"neum": {
"url": "https://api.neum.trade/mcp"
}
}
}
Cursor signs in with OAuth (authorization code with PKCE) and registers itself automatically.
Set up in VS Code (GitHub Copilot)
Run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, choose HTTP, paste the address and name it neum. Or add it to .vscode/mcp.json:
{
"servers": {
"neum": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://api.neum.trade/mcp"
}
}
}
Other MCP clients
Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth can connect: add https://api.neum.trade/mcp as a remote (HTTP) server and sign in to NEUM when asked. To explore the tools directly, use MCP Inspector with the same address.

Sign-in and privacy
You sign in to NEUM and approve the connection on a NEUM page. The AI app never sees your password. NEUM logs each request the app makes (which tool, the details sent, the result and timing) to run and secure the service, and keeps that log for 90 days. NEUM never receives your conversations with the AI app, only the requests it sends. Disconnect any time in NEUM under Account → Connected apps. Details in the Privacy Policy.
Questions
What is the NEUM MCP server?
A remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at https://api.neum.trade/mcp. It lets AI assistants read NEUM's price levels, model events and event calendar for US-listed stocks, and manage your NEUM watchlists with your confirmation.
Which AI apps work with it?
Any app that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth sign-in, including Claude (web, desktop and mobile), Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code.
Do I need a NEUM account?
Yes. The server uses your NEUM sign-in and needs an active NEUM plan. NEUM is in Beta and new sign-ups are paused; join the waitlist to get access.
Can the AI place trades through NEUM?
No. NEUM provides educational market data. The AI can read levels and events and, after you confirm, change your NEUM watchlists. It can't place trades or see your billing details.
Is NEUM investment advice?
No. NEUM's levels come from automated models applied to historical 4-hour price data. They are educational information, not recommendations to buy, sell or hold any security.
